The Seeds of Datura are a metal band that grew from the Nairobi underground metal scene. It was formed and comprises of Martin Kanja, Mordecai Ogayo, Wilson Muia, Lawrence Muchemi and Daniel Kobimbo. Seeds takes pride in Kenya's unique metal culture that spans over 10 years and dominated by bands like In Oath, Lust of a Dying Breed, Mortal Soul, Irony Destroyed Last Year's Tragedy and many more.
